Job orders in Tribe include product and pricing information by default, similar to opportunities, quotes, and invoices. In some workflows, this information is not relevant for engineers or technicians carrying out the work. Hiding amount fields helps keep the job order focused on tasks rather than costs. By following this guide, you will learn how to hide pricing fields on job orders and adjust the job order template where needed.

Background And Context
On a job order, the Products tab is available in the same way as on opportunities, quotes, and invoices. This tab allows products to be added and automatically calculates the total amount. While this is useful for administrative and financial processes, it is not always appropriate to show this information to the person carrying out the work.
Why Or When Should You Use This Setting?
You may want to hide amount fields when technicians or engineers only need task and product information, not pricing. This helps avoid confusion, reduces distractions, and ensures sensitive pricing data is not shown unnecessarily.
How To Hide Amount Fields On A Job Order
Navigate to Configuration.

Enable the toggle Hide Prices On Job Order.
Once this setting is active, all amount and pricing fields on the job order are hidden.
