Do you use e-Boekhouden for your financial administration? The e-Boekhouden integration connects your accounting directly with Tribe CRM. This saves time, prevents duplicate data, and ensures that invoices created in Tribe are automatically synchronised with e-Boekhouden. With this integration, you keep your relationships, products, and invoices aligned while reducing manual work and errors.

What Does The e-Boekhouden Integration Do?

The e-Boekhouden integration supports three types of synchronisation:

  • Relationship synchronisation

  • Product synchronisation

  • Invoice synchronisation

Relationship Synchronisation

When you activate the integration, an initial synchronisation imports business and private customers from e-Boekhouden into Tribe CRM. Tribe checks for duplicates using the unique e-Boekhouden ID. If no match is found, an additional check is performed based on the debtor or creditor number.

Inactive relationships in e-Boekhouden are not synchronised to Tribe.

After the initial synchronisation:

  • Changes made in Tribe are synchronised immediately to e-Boekhouden

  • Changes made in e-Boekhouden are synchronised periodically to Tribe

  • Synchronisation is always based on the unique e-Boekhouden ID

Important:
To synchronise a new customer from Tribe to e-Boekhouden, the relationship must have a debtor number. Without a debtor number, the relationship will not be synchronised. Tribe can automatically generate debtor numbers if automatic numbering is enabled.

Product Synchronisation

Products from e-Boekhouden are periodically synchronised to Tribe CRM. Duplicate checks are performed using the e-Boekhouden product ID.

Note: Product synchronisation is one-way only (from e-Boekhouden to Tribe).

Invoice Synchronisation

Invoices are created and sent from Tribe CRM.

When an invoice is marked as Sent in Tribe:

  • It is synchronised immediately to e-Boekhouden as an open item

  • Payments registered in e-Boekhouden are periodically synchronised back to Tribe

Note: A payment term is required to synchronise invoices. Relationships, products, and payments are synchronised from e-Boekhouden to Tribe every 24 hours.

How Do I Activate The Integration?

Important:
If you already have data in both Tribe and e-Boekhouden, first verify that customers and suppliers in Tribe have the correct debtor and creditor numbers. This prevents duplicates during the initial import.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open Marketplace in the top-right corner of Tribe

  2. Go to the Financial tab

  3. Select e-Boekhouden

  4. Click Activate

  5. Enter your username and security codes, then click Log in

  6. Retrieve the configuration

  7. Link the correct general ledger accounts and VAT groups

  8. Click Activate integration and start initial import

The initial synchronisation starts immediately. Depending on the size of your administration, this may take some time.

How Are Data Changes Managed?

Deleting Data

Deleting data in one system never deletes it in the other:

  • Deleting data in Tribe does not delete it in e-Boekhouden

  • Deleting data in e-Boekhouden does not delete it in Tribe

Deactivating Data

  • Deactivated relationships in e-Boekhouden remain active in Tribe

  • Deactivated products in e-Boekhouden are marked as Inactive in Tribe and updated almost immediately
