What Does the Qonto Integration Do?
The Qonto integration creates a two-way data connection between Tribe CRM and Qonto. Customer records created or updated in Tribe are pushed to Qonto, and invoices created in Qonto are pulled into Tribe automatically. Payment status changes and credit notes from Qonto are also reflected in Tribe, so your CRM always holds an accurate picture of your billing activity.
Once set up, the integration handles the following:
Relationship synchronisation
Invoice synchronisation
Did you know? Credit notes created in Qonto are automatically reflected in Tribe as a negative invoice linked to the original. No manual action is required.
Did you know? Invoices created through the Qonto integration are compliant, giving you confidence that your billing data meets the necessary standards.
Prerequisites
Before activating the Qonto integration, ensure the following conditions are met:
An active Qonto account. The integration supports existing Qonto customers only. Creating a new Qonto account is outside the scope of this integration.
Customer relation types. Only records set to the Customer or Private Customer relation type can be synchronised. Other relation types will be skipped.
Debtor number. Each customer record must have a debtor number assigned. Invoices cannot sync without one.
VAT groups. VAT codes are matched automatically by percentage and country code. If no matching VAT group exists in Tribe, invoice sync will fail with an error message.
Units. Units used in invoices must be configured in Tribe and mapped to their Qonto equivalents in the connector settings.
Note: Tribe’s Invoice module must be activated to enable invoice syncing.
How Do I Set Up The Qonto Integration?
Activate the integration by clicking “Activate.”
Click on “Log in to Qonto”.
Map Units.
Some units are mapped automatically on first initialisation. Adjust any mappings manually if needed.
Note: The initial sync runs on demand via the Sync button. Subsequent updates happen automatically based on the triggers described in the “How Does Synchronisation Work?” section below.

Tips and Best Practices
Assign debtor numbers before syncing. Any customer without a debtor number will cause invoice sync to fail. Set debtor numbers on all relevant records before triggering a sync.
Verify VAT groups in advance. Ensure that every VAT rate used in your invoices has a matching VAT group configured in Tribe. Mismatches block invoice synchronisation.
Check relation types. Only Customer and Private Customer relation types are supported. Review your customer records and correct any that use a different type.
Use the navigation button for quick access. Any synced record in Tribe displays a direct link to the corresponding record in Qonto, saving time when switching between tools.

Quick Summary
The Qonto integration automates the flow of customer and invoice data between Tribe CRM and Qonto, removing the need for manual data entry across both systems. Once activated and configured, synchronisation runs automatically in real time or near real time, with a periodic pull in the background on customers and credit notes. Ensuring that debtor numbers, VAT groups, units, and relation types are correctly set up before activation will allow the integration to run smoothly.
