Overview
The AI-Generated Email Reply feature lets you instantly draft a reply to any email directly within your CRM, using the context already stored against the related object.
Rather than manually reviewing prior interactions before writing a response, the AI does that work for you β pulling together the relevant history, the details of the people involved, and the context of the object the email is linked to, to generate a relevant and informed draft in seconds.
The result is faster, more consistent communication without leaving your CRM.

Getting Started
Step 1: Enable the feature
From the Insider Program section, find AI-Generated Email Reply and toggle it on. Once enabled, the feature will be available whenever you reply to an email inside your CRM.
Step 2: Open a reply
Navigate to an email that is linked to an object in your CRM and open the reply composer.
Step 3: Generate your reply
Click the Generate with AI button in the reply composer. The body of your draft will be filled automatically with a generated response based on:
The object the email is linked to (e.g. a company, contact, or opportunity)
All interactions logged in the context of that object
The details of the sender, if they can be matched to an existing person in your CRM
Step 4: Review and send
The generated draft is a starting point β review it, adjust the tone and content as needed, and send when you're happy with it.
How It Works Behind the Scenes
1. Context collection
Before generating a reply, the system gathers relevant information from your CRM:
Parent object β retrieves the object the email is linked to
Related interactions β collects all interactions logged in the context of that object
Sender resolution β attempts to match the sender's email address to an existing person in your CRM and fetches their details
This data is compiled into a CRM context that informs the reply generation.
2. Reply generation
Using the collected context, the AI generates a relevant and coherent email reply, which is inserted directly into the body of your draft β ready for you to review and send.
How to Get the Best Results
To make the most out of AI-Generated Email Reply:
Keep your CRM interactions up to date. The more interactions are logged on an object, the more context the AI has to generate a relevant and accurate reply.
Make sure emails are linked to the right object. The AI uses the parent object and its related interactions as the basis for the generated response.
Keep contact information current. The AI will try to match the sender's email address to an existing person in your CRM β accurate contact records improve the quality of the output.
Always review before sending. The generated draft is a starting point. Take a moment to adjust the tone, add personal details, or refine the content before hitting send.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work for all emails in my CRM? The feature works for any email that is linked to an object in your CRM. Emails that are not linked to an object will have less context available, which may affect the quality of the generated reply.
Will the AI send the email automatically? No. The AI generates a draft and inserts it into the reply composer. Nothing is sent until you review it and send it yourself.
What if the sender isn't in my CRM? The AI will still generate a reply using the context of the parent object and its interactions. The sender's personal details simply won't be included if they can't be matched to an existing record.
Can I edit the generated draft? Absolutely β the draft is fully editable. Think of it as a well-informed first version that you can refine before sending.
Does the AI learn from my edits or previous replies? At this stage, each reply is generated fresh based on the CRM context available at the time. Learning from past edits is not yet supported but may be explored in a future release.
