Overview

TribeAI is an AI-powered chatbot built directly into your CRM, giving you a conversational way to access and explore your data without navigating through menus and screens.

Ask questions in plain language and get instant, informed answers — whether you need a quick company summary, an overview of your open deals, or a list of upcoming activities. TribeAI reads from your actual CRM data and shows you exactly what it's doing as it works, so you're always in the loop.

Getting Started

Step 1: Activate the feature

From the Insider Program section, find TribeAI and toggle it on. Once enabled, the TribeAI launcher will appear in the top header of your CRM.

Step 2: Open the chat

Click the TribeAI icon in the header to open the chat window. The window is draggable — you can reposition it anywhere on screen to suit your workflow.

Step 3: Ask a question

Type your question in plain language and hit send. A few examples of what you can ask:

  • "Show me my open deals"

  • "What activities do I have scheduled this week?"

  • "Give me a summary of company X"

  • "Which contacts are linked to opportunity Y?"

Step 4: Follow up naturally

TribeAI maintains context throughout your conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself. If you ask about a company and then ask "who are the key contacts?", it already knows which company you mean.

Key Behaviours

Page-aware context TribeAI knows which page you're currently on. If you're viewing a contact's record and ask "what's their last activity?", it uses that context directly — no need to specify who you're talking about.

Full transparency TribeAI shows its work as it goes. You'll see a Thinking… indicator while it's reasoning, and compact badges for each CRM lookup it performs — so you always know what it's doing and why.

Streaming responses Responses appear progressively as they're generated, rather than all at once, for a more natural conversational feel.

Minimise to pill You can minimise the chat window to a small pill in the corner of your screen without losing your conversation. Click the pill to restore it exactly where you left off. Closing the window (or starting a new chat) clears the conversation.


How It Works Behind the Scenes

When you send a message, TribeAI interprets your question and determines which CRM data it needs to answer it. It then queries your CRM directly — retrieving records, relationships, and activity history — and uses that data to generate its response.

The context of your current page is automatically included in each query, so TribeAI can give more relevant and targeted answers depending on where you are in the app.

Conversation history is maintained throughout your session, enabling natural multi-turn exchanges.

Navigating a CRM to find specific information takes time — especially for quick lookups or questions that span multiple entities.

TribeAI helps you:

  • Access CRM data faster, without navigating through multiple screens

  • Get entity summaries and overviews on demand

  • Ask cross-entity questions that would otherwise require several manual steps

  • Stay focused during calls, meetings, or prep sessions without losing your place in the app


Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of questions can I ask? Anything related to your CRM data — contacts, companies, deals, activities, and the relationships between them. No specific syntax required — just ask naturally.

Can TribeAI create or update records? Not in the current version. TribeAI is read-only — it can retrieve and present information, but cannot make changes to your CRM. Write capabilities are planned for a future release.

Does TribeAI remember previous conversations? Context is maintained within a single session. Starting a new chat or closing the window clears the conversation — it does not carry over between sessions.

Is there a limit on message length? Yes, there is a character limit per message. A counter in the chat input will alert you as you approach the limit.

Is TribeAI available on mobile? Not yet. The chatbot is currently available on desktop only. Mobile support is planned for a future release.

How accurate is the information TribeAI returns? TribeAI retrieves data directly from your CRM — it does not generate or infer information. The accuracy of its answers reflects the quality of the data in your account.

What if TribeAI can't answer my question? If TribeAI is unable to retrieve the information you need, it will let you know. In case of a temporary issue, a Retry button will appear so you can re-send the same message without retyping it.
