Who Is Red Cactus?
Red Cactus develops software that connects telephony environments with CRM, ERP, and administrative systems. Their software is delivered through telecom resellers, telecom providers, ICT partners, and software companies.
Bubble is Red Cactus’ VoIP integration solution and is used to connect VoIP systems with Tribe CRM. The software supports most commonly used VoIP telephony solutions. For the latest supported systems and requirements, refer to the Red Cactus website.
What Does The VoIP Connection With Tribe CRM Do?
The integration between Tribe CRM and your VoIP system is handled through Bubble, Red Cactus’ desktop application.
Bubble runs continuously in the background on each user’s workstation. You can recognise it by the red phone icon in the taskbar. When an incoming call is detected, Bubble checks Tribe CRM to see if the phone number belongs to an existing relation.
If a match is found, Bubble immediately shows a pop-up with the relation’s details. From this pop-up, users can perform actions such as opening the relation card directly in Tribe CRM.
Which Phone Numbers Are Recognised?
When a call comes in, Bubble searches Tribe CRM using the following phone number fields:
Private phone number of a person
Private mobile number of a person
Phone number of a contact person
Phone number of an organisation
Note: Bubble can only search these standard phone number fields. Custom phone number fields or other number types are not supported.
What Does Bubble Look Like For Users?
When a relation is found, a pop-up appears showing the relation details. The layout and available buttons are configurable. For example, a button can be added to open the relation directly in Tribe CRM.
Bubble is available for:
Windows 8, 10, and 11
macOS from High Sierra (10.13) onwards
Always check the Red Cactus website for the most up-to-date system requirements.
What Are The Costs Of Bubble?
Bubble is a paid application. The costs are included on your Tribe CRM invoice. A portion of this fee is passed on to Red Cactus.
More detailed information about pricing and conditions is available via Tribe support.
How Do I Configure Bubble?
The configuration of Bubble consists of several steps and is carried out with support from the Tribe support team.
Pre-check
Because many VoIP setups are possible, a suitability check is required before configuration. During this step, the following questions are answered:
Which VoIP telephony solution is used?
Is it a cloud-based or on-premise solution?
If on-premise, which hardware and software are involved?
Which workstations are used?
Which operating systems run on those workstations?
Registration
Once suitability is confirmed, registration can start. The following information is required:
Organisation details
Organisation name
Address
Street and house number
Postal code and city
Country
User details
First name and last name
Email address
After registration, user accounts are created.
Installation
You will receive a download link to install the Bubble software. Installation can be done independently or with support from Tribe.
Setup
The final step is configuring Bubble Client Notifications. This includes:
Creating a profile for incoming call notifications
Defining which information is shown
Setting buttons (for example, opening a relation in Tribe CRM)
This profile can be shared with all users to ensure a consistent experience.
Testing
After registration, the integration can be tested for 14 days. Once this trial period ends, a paid subscription with a minimum duration of one year begins.
Quick Summary
The VoIP connection with Tribe CRM is made possible through Bubble, developed by Red Cactus. Bubble identifies incoming calls, matches phone numbers with relations in Tribe, and shows relation details instantly. The integration supports many VoIP systems, requires desktop installation, and is configured with support from Tribe.
