Linking Gmail to Tribe CRM adds a Tribe sidebar inside your Gmail inbox. This allows you to archive emails directly to relations and activities in Tribe. Emails are stored with the correct context, helping build a complete customer overview.

Step By Step Instructions
Close Gmail if it is currently open.
Open Tribe CRM.
Select Marketplace from the top-right menu.
Open the Email And Calendar tab.
Click the Gmail Add-in logo.
Select the link to open the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add To Chrome to install the extension.
Restart Gmail once the extension is installed.
After installation, the Tribe CRM Icon appears in the top-right corner of your browser.
Note:The Gmail add-in works through the Google Chrome browser and requires the Tribe CRM extension to be installed.
Archiving Emails To Existing Relations
Open Gmail and select an email you want to archive.
Review the Tribe CRM Sidebar, which opens automatically.
Confirm that the relation or organisation is recognised.
Click Commit Email to archive the email to the relation.
The email is now saved in Tribe CRM and linked to the correct relation.
Archiving Emails To New Relations
Open an email from a sender not yet known in Tribe.
Review the notification in the Tribe CRM Sidebar indicating no existing relation was found.
Select Create New Relation.
Review and complete the prefilled details, such as name and email address.
Click Capture Email to save the email and create the relation.

Open the email in Gmail.
In the Tribe CRM Sidebar, select the Activity section.
Choose an existing activity or select Create New Activity.
