What Do Tasks And Appointments Do?

Tasks and appointments ensure proper follow-up on activities such as sales opportunities, projects, or work orders. These activities do not contain a follow-up date by default, so tasks and appointments add structure and accountability. By linking them to a relation or activity, you keep all follow-up actions clearly connected and visible in one place.

What Is The Difference Between A Task And An Appointment?

Appointment
An appointment is used when you plan a specific day and time. It represents a meeting with a relation, either on location or digitally. Appointments always appear in the Calendar and can be synchronised with Outlook or Google Calendar.

Task
A task is used when you need a reminder on a specific day without a fixed time. Tasks appear in My Open Tasks and are completed by setting their status to completed. Calendar synchronisation for tasks is optional and can be enabled using a slider.
