What Does This Feature Do?
This feature allows Tribe to display tasks and appointments in different colours in the calendar. The colour shown depends on the selected task type or appointment type. This makes it easier to visually distinguish between activities.
Which Activities Support Colours?
Calendar colours are available for the following activities:
Task
Appointment
For appointments, a drop-down list called Appointment Type is available. This selection list already exists for tasks.
How Are Colours Set?
The values for Task Type and Appointment Type are managed by a Tribe administrator.
Open Configuration.
Navigate to the activity settings for Tasks or Appointments.
Maintain the values in the selection list.
Set a default Colour for each value.
Each type can have its own default colour, which is then used in the calendar.
Where Are The Colours Displayed?
Once colours are configured, tasks and appointments are shown in the calendar using the selected colours. This applies automatically based on the chosen task type or appointment type.
Limitations Of Calendar Colours
Calendar colours are only used within Tribe. They are not synchronised to or from external calendars.
