1 What functionality does the interface with APSIS One offer?
After activating the link, all persons from Tribe CRM are synchronised to APSIS One. This ensures that you can immediately get started with your marketing campaigns. New people added in Tribe at a later time are retrieved by APSIS, just like existing relations that have been updated.
The marketing actions from APSIS One, such as sending e-mails or SMS, are visible in Tribe CRM in the Apsis marketing campaign activity, while the result of opening and clicking on the campaign can be seen in the Apsis marketing campaign result activity for each relation. You link selections in Tribe CRM to profiles in APSIS One for targeted campaigns.
In addition, marketing automations from Apsis One can be used to create a task in Tribe CRM, for seamless use of both systems.
2 What steps should I take to activate the interface?
Full activation consists of two steps. The activation of the link itself, where you link the Tribe fields to the Apsis field, among other things, and the synchronisation of the relationships' permissions.
Step 1: Activating the interface
Navigate to the marketplace in Tribe CRM.
Click on the Email marketing tab.
Activate the APSIS One link.
The link will now automatically install the necessary settings that are part of the Apsis One module. This may take some time.
Open the settings and check that the default country code for phone numbers is set correctly.
You can skip the selections screen for now, this will be explained further in chapter 3. Click Save.
Copy the Api URL and Api Key from the connector screen.
Now open APSIS One.
Navigate to the Integrations menu.
If the APSIS account contains multiple sections , select the appropriate section to activate the connector.
Open the CRM tab and click connect to the Tribe integration and click the continue button.
Here, paste the API URL and Api key from the connector screen into Tribe and click connect.
The integration settings will now open. Open the field assignments tab . Here you define which fields from Tribe CRM you want to synchronise to APSIS One. By default, the fields ID, e-mail and mobile are linked. If desired, link additional fields to the appropriate field in APSIS One. Additional linking fields can be created in Apsis One in the section's data model.
Then open the full synchronisations tab. Click the start full synchronisation button here.
The synchronised relationships are shown in Apsis One in the target group menu. Then click the Profiles tab for the list of relations. Note: if you use multiple sections within Apsis One, select the correct section first for the correct overview in the profiles. It may take some time before all relations are synchronised.
Step 2: Consent/opt-in
Marketing actions in APSIS One are performed on the basis of permissions. The user must have given your organisation permission to send marketing messages. In Tribe CRM, you record this by means of a label attached to the relation. The label must be part of a label category where opt-in is activated. Relations with an opt-in label are included in the APSIS One messages. You define opt-in labels in the configuration.
Follow the steps below to define a new label:
Navigate to configuration.
Click on labels in the menu.
Open an existing label or create a new one.
Activate the Opt-in slider.
All labels in this category are now of type opt-in. In Apsis in the CRM configuration, open the permissions tab. Here, select the opt-in label categories you defined in Tribe and link them to a permission list in APSIS One. Define here whether the person has given consent for email and/or SMS. (This requires subscriptions to be defined in Apsis One).
Then open the full synchronisations tab. Click the start full synchronisation button here.
