What Does A Partial Template Block Do?

A partial template block lets you insert a reusable section into a template. This section is created once and can be used repeatedly across different templates. When the partial template is updated, the change applies automatically wherever it is used.

What Types Of Partial Templates Are Available?

Tribe supports two types of partial templates:

  • Offer Template Part Template: Used within an offer email template.

  • Document Activity Template Partial Template: Used within document templates, such as offers or invoices.

Each type ensures that shared content remains consistent within its relevant context.

How Do I Add A Partial Template Block?

  1. Open the relevant Template.

  2. Click the + icon in the template layout.

  3. Select Part Template from the Common Blocks section.

  4. Type the first letters of the Partial Template Name or select it from the list.

The selected partial template is added to your template.

Note: Changes to a partial template apply immediately to all templates where it is used. You cannot edit the content of a partial template from within a template.

Are There Settings For A Partial Template Block?

Partial template blocks do not have their own settings. All layout and formatting settings are defined within the blocks that make up the partial template itself. To make changes, open the partial template and adjust the relevant blocks there.

Quick Summary

Partial template blocks allow you to reuse fixed content across multiple templates in Tribe. They help keep layouts and text consistent while reducing maintenance work. Updates made to a partial template automatically apply wherever it is used.
