What Does A Column Block Do?

A column block lets you place multiple blocks next to each other within a template. This makes it easier to organise content horizontally instead of stacking everything vertically. You can use up to six columns in a single column block, and you can adjust the layout later if needed.

How Do I Add A Column Block?

  1. Open the relevant Template.

  2. Click the + icon in the template layout.

  3. Select Columns from the Layout Elements section.

  4. Choose the preferred Column Layout.

The column block is added to your template with the selected structure.

How Do I Add Content To Columns?

Once the column block is in place, you can add blocks to each column.

  1. Click the + icon inside a column.

  2. Select the required block, such as Text, Logo, or Image.

  3. Repeat these steps to add multiple blocks within the same column if needed.

Each column works in the same way as the main template area.

What Settings Are Available For Column Blocks?

Column blocks include settings for both the overall block and the individual columns.

Column Layout Settings

  • Click the outer Column Block to adjust the Number Of Columns.

  • Select Reset to restore the original layout if needed.

Inner Column Settings

  • Click an individual Column to adjust its Width using the slider or by entering a percentage.

  • Other columns automatically resize to maintain the layout.

  • Select Reset to undo width changes.

Grouping And Vertical Alignment

  • Enable Grouping to keep column content fixed together and prevent shifting.

  • Set Vertical Alignment to Top, Middle, or Bottom for the column content.

  • Apply vertical alignment to both the column block and individual columns.

Quick Summary

Column blocks allow you to place multiple blocks side by side within a template. You can add content to each column and adjust the layout and alignment as needed. Using column blocks helps structure templates clearly and consistently across emails and documents.
