What Does This Feature Do?
Private appointments created in Outlook are synchronised to Tribe through the Microsoft 365 connector. Instead of appearing as normal appointments, they are shown as private in Tribe. This ensures sensitive information is not visible while still keeping your calendar schedule accurate.
Why Or When Should You Use It?
You should use private appointments when you want to block time in your calendar without sharing details in Tribe. This is helpful for personal events or confidential meetings that should not be visible to others. It allows you to manage availability while maintaining privacy.
Where Is This Feature Displayed?
Private appointments appear in the Tribe Calendar with the subject Private. They are shown as a grey block and cannot be edited in Tribe.
Note: Private appointments can only be created in Outlook. Any changes must also be made in Outlook, as private appointments are not editable in Tribe.
