The Inbound Enrichment Agent automatically enriches leads and prospects that are manually created in TribeCRM. When a new record is added, the agent gathers additional company and contact information using AI and external data sources — so your pipeline records become richer and more actionable without any manual research.

Overview

The Inbound Enrichment Agent runs automatically whenever a new lead or prospect is created in Tribe. It enriches the organisation profile, generates AI-powered company insights, and identifies relevant contacts — writing everything directly back onto the record.

The agent works alongside the Prospect Generation Agent. Together, these agents transform your Tribe account into a powerful pipeline engine that both generates new prospects automatically and enriches records created by your team.

Which records get enriched?
Inbound Enrichment covers both leads (relationships with the Lead commercial relationship type) and prospects.


How It Works

Prerequisite

Before the enrichment agent can run, you need to configure a webhook that triggers the AI enrichment process whenever a new record is created.

Follow the steps below to configure the webhook.

1. Navigate to Webhooks

  • Go to Configuration

  • Select Applications

  • Click + Webhook

2. Configure the Webhook URL

In the URL field, enter the following:

Replace your_organization_id with your Tribe organization ID.

3. Save the Webhook

Click Save to create the webhook.

4. Set the Trigger Event

After the webhook is created, select the appropriate trigger event for the relationship types you want to enrich:

  • After creating a new prospect — to enrich prospects as they are created

  • After creating a new lead — to enrich leads with the Lead commercial relationship type

You can configure both trigger events on the same webhook URL to cover your full pipeline. If your organisation uses the Lead activity, configure the webhook for both lead and prospect creation to ensure every inbound record is enriched automatically.


Step 1: Create a Lead or Prospect in Tribe

Upon record creation, the webhook sends the relationship information to the enrichment agent. The agent extracts key parameters such as:

  • Organisation name

  • Website (if available)

  • Country

  • Record and organisation identifiers

These details form the starting point for the enrichment process.


Step 2: Company Enrichment

The enrichment agent analyses the company associated with the record and gathers additional information. If the website is missing, the agent attempts to identify the company's official website first. Once found, the system enriches the company profile using AI-powered data sources.

This may include:

  • Company description

  • Industry information

  • Location data

  • Additional company attributes

The enriched data is written directly to the organisation record in Tribe.


Step 3: Prospect Intelligence Generation

After the company information is enriched, AI generates structured insights about the organisation to help your sales team understand the relationship quickly — without manual research.

Examples of generated insights include:

  • A short company summary

  • Key business activities

  • Relevant context for outreach

These insights are automatically saved as notes on the organisation record.


Step 4: Contact Enrichment

The agent then attempts to identify relevant contacts connected to the company. AI-powered search finds potential contacts and enriches them with available information before saving them to the organisation in Tribe.


Step 5: Notification

Once enrichment is complete, the system sends a notification confirming that the record has been enriched.

  1. How long does it take for a record to get enriched?

    Enrichment happens within 5 minutes of creation.

  2. Does enrichment work for both leads and prospects?

    Yes. The same enrichment process applies to both leads (relationships with the Lead commercial relationship type) and prospects. If your organisation uses the Lead activity, Lead entity records are also enriched automatically.

  3. How can I check what data was added to my record?

    All data added by AI is logged in the Audit trail.
