Product Digest - Episode #07

Dear Tribe Community,

This edition is about making Tribe feel more like yours: your own words for your fields, a campaign builder that gets out of your way, and a cleaner, more organised place to find your settings.

🚀 What’s New

The new Campaign experience: from idea to inbox in just a few clicks

Meet the biggest upgrade ever to marketing campaigns in Tribe CRM. We rebuilt the whole journey, from the first click on “new campaign” to the report on how it performed, so you can create campaigns that look professional and feel effortless to send.

Key highlights

  • ✓ Guided builder, step by step — a clear path through sender and subject, unsubscribe settings, audience, email content, and test and send, with hints at each step to catch problems before you send

  • ✓ A brand-new drag-and-drop editor — build polished emails with columns, text, images and buttons that look right everywhere, including Outlook, with your existing merge fields still there

  • ✓ A cleaner, clearer report — more detail on clicks, one-click data export, and sent campaigns locked so the report shows exactly what went out

Open Marketing, create a new campaign, and the guided flow takes you from there.

Speak your own language: rename system fields to match your business

Every company has its own vocabulary. Now Tribe can use yours. Admins can rename the labels of system fields, so “Subject” becomes “Title,” or “Status” becomes whatever your team actually calls it. Once you rename a field, the new name shows up everywhere it appears: list and view headers, filters, detail pages, forms and search.

Good to know: renaming is available to admins and only changes the label your organisation sees. The field itself and your data stay exactly as they are. Changed your mind? Clear the custom name and the field goes back to the Tribe default.

Trust your data a little more with Duplicate detection

Clean data is the foundation for reliable reporting, segmentation, scoring and AI. Duplicate detection, Beta and part of the AI Insider Program, is the first feature in Tribe’s new Data Quality tools, and this sprint makes it more trustworthy to use.

Key highlights

  • ✓ A new tooltip explains why records were matched, for example on first and last name, so you can judge in seconds whether a group is a true duplicate

  • ✓ Individual records now carry a “possible duplicate” marker, so anyone viewing a contact or organisation can spot it at a glance, before duplicates spread into reports, campaigns and follow-ups

Ask AI can now build basic automations for you

Recent enhancements to Ask AI mean you can now ask it to create some basic automations, rather than setting them up by hand.

🗺️ What’s Coming

Manage tabs and pages the way your team actually works

Tab Management lets administrators organise entity pages around how their teams work, rolling out from mid-November in environments with Tabbed UI activated.

Key highlights

  • ✓ Drag and drop to reorder tabs and pages, or move pages between tabs

  • ✓ Hide or rename tabs and pages from the three-dot menu

  • ✓ Add custom tabs, and delete custom tabs and pages

  • ✓ Save once, and the layout updates for every record of that entity type

Find any setting faster with a reorganised configuration menu

Soon the configuration menu gets a new layout, so you spend less time hunting for the right tab. Pages are grouped by function into Data, Tools, Modules and Admin, and everything about your data (people, organisations, activities and custom entities) will live together under Entities. A few things also get a new name or home: Quotes will sit under Sales, and Labels will be called Tags.

Good to know: only the location of settings changes, not how they work, and your data and settings stay exactly as they are. If you have bookmarks to configuration pages, you may need to update them.

A timeline sidebar for reviewing without losing your place

Clicking a timeline card will soon open it in a sidebar, so you can review tasks, appointments, documents and invoices while your timeline stays in view. Close it and you’re right back where you were, with the option to open the full page or a new tab when you need more.
