Product Digest - Episode #06

Dear Tribe Community,

This edition is about making everyday work smoother: campaigns that look professional without the effort, contracts signed without leaving Tribe, and dashboards you can reshape just by asking.

🚀 What’s New

Send offers for signature with DocuSign, without leaving Tribe

DocuSign is now live in the Marketplace. Install it once, then send any offer for signature straight from Tribe, with no more downloading, re-uploading or chasing.

Key highlights

  • ✓ Choose Via DocuSign when you submit the offer, add one or more signers, and decide whether they sign at the same time or in a set order

  • ✓ Signing status shows on an eSignature activity in the timeline of the offer and the opportunity, and updates by itself as each person signs

  • ✓ When everyone has signed, the signed document and its certificate of completion are attached for you

  • ✓ The opportunity moves on to its next stage and the responsible sales rep is notified

You’ll need a DocuSign plan with API access (Business Pro or higher) and an admin who can authorise apps. Signature fields are added to your proposal template once, in Configuration.

Edit your widgets just by asking

Creating a widget with Ask AI is now more flexible, because you can change it after it’s built. Tell Ask AI what to adjust, for example “Make that a bar chart and show won deals only”, and it reshapes the widget for you.

Key highlights

  • ✓ Change the chart type, measure, filter or grouping in plain language

  • ✓ Compare a before and after card, and nothing is saved until you click Save change

  • ✓ Rename the widget in the same request

Set a realistic expected order date on every new opportunity

New sales opportunities used to get today’s date as the expected order date, which rarely matches a real close date and skews your forecast. Admins can now choose how many days after creation the date is set, or switch auto-fill off, using the new Auto-fill expected order date card in Sales opportunity settings.

Nothing changes until you adjust the setting, and the date stays editable on the creation form. If you switch auto-fill off and want to leave the date empty, make the field optional. The setting applies to opportunities created manually in Tribe, not those created through the API, imports, automations or web forms.

Always know where you are, with breadcrumbs

Drilling from a customer to an opportunity to a contact no longer leaves you guessing how you got there. A breadcrumb trail above the page title shows the path you’ve walked, so you can jump back to any earlier step in one click.

Add images straight into your notes

Your notes can now hold pictures as well as text. Drop in a screenshot, a photo or a diagram right where it’s relevant, so the full context stays in one place. Call notes, meeting follow-ups and customer details become much easier to scan and share with your team.

Fewer spam submissions, clearer consent on your web forms

Your new web forms now come with built-in spam protection, so the submissions that reach Tribe CRM are far more likely to be real people. You can also add an optional consent line that asks visitors to accept your terms before they submit.

Remember to mention in your privacy notice that submissions are handled by Tribe CRM and that spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) is used.

✓ Small things, big difference

  • Invoice bulk edit no longer blocks you without a good reason. It only asks you to confirm when money fields change

🗺️ What’s Coming

Campaigns, from idea to inbox, in just a few clicks

This is the biggest upgrade to marketing campaigns in Tribe CRM so far. We rebuilt the whole journey, from the first click on “new campaign” to the report on how it performed. No more cramped pop-ups, and no more emails that break on the way to the inbox.

Key highlights

  • ✓ Guided builder: a full page with a clear path through sender and subject, unsubscribe settings, audience, email content, and test and send, with hints that help you spot problems before you send

  • ✓ Drag-and-drop editor: build polished emails with columns, text, images and buttons, and trust that they look right everywhere, including Outlook

  • ✓ Your merge fields still work: they come with you into a more intuitive editor

  • ✓ A clearer report: more detail on clicks, one-click data export, and sent campaigns are locked so the report shows exactly what went out

Whether you send a monthly newsletter or a one-off announcement, your campaigns now come together faster and look their best. Open Marketing, create a new campaign and the guided flow takes you from there.

Make the tabs yours with Tab management

Tabbed UI only. Soon you’ll be able to shape the tabs on your record pages to fit the way your team works. Hide, unhide and rename tabs and pages, create your own, and delete the custom ones you no longer need. If you change your mind, you can reset everything to the system default.

Find and merge duplicate records with Data quality (Beta)

Duplicate detection is the first feature in the new Data quality area. It finds organisations and contacts that describe the same entity and shows exactly where they conflict. You choose which values survive when you merge them, and every action is logged for a full audit trail.

To try it, an admin can switch it on under Configuration → Insider program.
